Salty Dog seems to be able to do no wrong at the moment. The Princes Square style bar keeps picking up award after award at national events. In March, Colin Barr’s new venture picked up the Best New Bar of the Year award from industry magazine Theme, and at the beginning of July it was named Best New Style Bar of the Year at the Dram awards. Now its team of mixologists has been commended at the Appleton Estate Academy UK Cocktail Competition. Fred May and Malcolm Spence both received awards for their cocktail creations
