Located in Glasgow’s shop-laden Princes Square, this art nouveau-style restaurant looks every bit the slinky style bar, with its dark tables, red leather chairs and granite details. Scottish seafood platters, lobster langoustine and king prawns – all turn up regularly on the menu and, whilst seafood is a speciality, non-fish eaters are catered for with pasta, salad or soup. Their cocktails don’t come cheap but are considered among the very best in the city. Their pear and cardamom sidecar is a fruity, booze-packed delight, made with cardamom pods, xante, pear cognac, fresh lemon and cointreau.
